it was a dark and stormy night....

so it was storming last night and at some point the power got reset. this means my alarm did not go off. therefore i have not woken up until it is too late to visit my first 2 classes. this angers me. hopefully my professors will understand. this also gives me time to work on my program and study for my quiz at 1.

in other storm-related news, the momentary blackout seems to have fragged my network card in the gaming machine. it still has an onboard network card, but its not gigabit. bah.
