so i've decided to look into the world of linux/unix system administration. what i'm doing in database is all unix command line stuff and i really like it. sysadmin is also something i've always thought was way cool. i've been playing with linux and macOS as well, heh. geek stuff, yay!
i've decided to study up and get my A+ Computer Technician Certification. Basically says that I have some idea how to build a computer and run Windows, thats bout it. Its really more of a history lesson but it'll be fun to do and adds to my resume. I'm also going to get a certification in Linux and/or Unix, not sure from where yet tho. I may look into MCSE and/or Cisco later on.
talking with jay and he's seriously considering doing work with Overgroup and possibly even leaving Suncoast. That'll be an interesting change of pace if it happens. there's a long list of reasons for him to go and not many for him to stay, so yea. things seem to be changing, we'll see how it all goes.
still going to europe this summer probably. gonna try to go to Washington for spring break i think though, that'll be fun if people will cooperate with me on it. w00t.
end randomness.
