It's the little things.
Little things make me happy. Like I bought new makeup last night. My mineral powder foundation had run out. I'd been using a crappier version that I didn't really like. I hadn't loved the other one either. I bought Almay pressed powder last night and I LOVE it. It's like when I used to have the Mac Fix, only it doesn't cost me $25. The best thing I got though was new mascara. I bought a one dollar version of E.L.F.com that I hated and I've been using Maybelline great lash or whatever since like two years ago and it's all dry and clumpy. I couldn't help but actually exclaim "Wow!" out loud when I put my new mascara on. There was a vast difference in my lashes. I didn't even know they could get that long and dark. Even Aaron was surprised. Looks like Cover Girl's Lash Blast in very black is my new favorite.
I also have on my new $5 shoes I found at Old Navy with my new $7 dress and $13 cardigan I found there as well. And my $5 ribbed tights I found at Walgreens last night. Never thought I'd buy tights at Walgreens, but they are sturdy and my other brown tights ripped yesterday.
