Caught X-men Origins with Seewei at the new mall Iluma
The mall is really really spacious! To the extent that I feel it might be a waste of space, but still it's nice to walk around without having to constantly step out of people's way. Not all the stores were opened yet, but we managed to buy some stuff! =] School has been such a drag that once I have the chance to go out I tend to just buy without much thought.
And the movie was good, not 5 stars good, but good enough for a movie-starved student lol. More emphasis on action rather than plot, but I like Hugh Jackman when he's in that biker outfit LOL. Was kinda horrified when the kind old couple were shot though. Stryder is an asshole. Oh yes I was very amused when I saw that WILL.I.AM(from Black Eyed Peas) was acting in the show as the teleporting mutant. This review is super negative, but kinda funny - Wolverine is an X-Men Ordeal
Oh and the trailer for Half Blood Prince is not bad! Can't wait to watch it. Oh anyway the Filmgarde movie theatres are quite good, wide aisles, spacious seats and nice nachos! I wonder what happened between Cathay and the distributor for Xmen Origins, Cathay is gonna suffer such a huge loss from not screening the movie, so much that they are offering free popcorn combo with every pair of tickets purchased. So if you're thinkin of catching some other movie, might as well go Cathay
