Like I was saying to jwm, maybe even as late as S6 I might've been OK with some sort of redemption, but that desire has since long passed. I just want him/it off my screen now.

I mean, if we assume that Clark told her that the AI disowned him, then it doesn't make sense that she broached the subject with him in a manner that suggested she thought the two of them mutually broke ties, and that the divide could at least be partially crossed if Clark would just talk it out with the AI. If she knows that (a) Clark has been disowned, and (b) the AI has not provided any guidance or conditions on what Clark can do to change the disavowal, then (c) she should understand that the onus of repairing the breach thus rests entirely on the AI, that Clark and the AI don't equally share the burden for that
