//The BlueK was in the drinking water. Clark discovered it in the scene right before the cop knocks him out, and BlueK crystals were visibly in one of the water troths.//

Ah, k. Got it!

//Lois randomly wearing nail polish when she never has and such.//

Right?!

//There are episodes I like okay and moments I like, even love. But I haven't just straight up loved a whole episode of season 10 yet.//

This is exactly where I'm at.

I'm not spoiled so I have no idea what's coming up on Friday, but ITA with you - I am desperate to find an ep I can just adore, unreservedly.

Hey, good for you! :-) Sometimes there is no rationale for why we love an ep. I know the feeling, believe me, having championed eps in the past such as 'Facade', 'Devoted' and 'Instinct' and others, heh. I know they're cheesy and awfully stupid, but I love them anyways.

Happy Hallowe'en to you too!

But what was up with just traipsing off with the little girl in the beginning? And then sticking around to the point of actually having dinner with them? Did she not think Clark would be concerned? I thought was incredibly inconsiderate of her.
It seemed like an improbable and convoluted way to get her into the village - since Clark ends up there too by the middle of the episode, why not have them just stop at the Harvest Fair and get trapped? Or better still, NOT do the creepy village plot that's been done a thousand times before.

I also don't get how if clone!Lex has the memories of Lex, then where was he getting info on things like Zod, and earlier in 'Lazarus', Lois now being in Clark' life, and not Lana. It's confusing.
They keep using the Lex-clones for exposition, in this case for something we already knew: Tess is drawn to powerful men. Yes, she already articulated that herself.

Because those would be the good kind of story ideas--- ;-)

Yeah, that aspect is already becoming a little annoying, I have to admit.

//Hey, don't be putting negative Nancy's down! I'm one all the time. LOL//

Y'know, I watched this again (I know!) with Ray' nephew Sunday afternoon when he was over and ugh, I flat out hated it this time. Usually eps can get better on second viewing but this one got worse.

//Lots of stalling, lots of Clark's storyline being focused on his romantic life.//

It's pretty ridiculous at this point. If I didn't know, honestly, I would never peg this down as The Final season.

//But I also don't expect it to go anywhere, anytime soon.//

Yes. And this is the really sad part.

//The Clois love scene was very tepid for me. And candles? Do Clark or Lois strike anyone as candle people?//

I get the kind of emotion they were trying to go for, but it really was uninspiring, and particularly so because of the candles.

//I also realized that another problem I'm having with this season is that it feels like, with the exception of Homecoming and parts of Shield, almost every episode has undercut/undermined Clark in some way. I can't get over that he was almost as passive this week as he was last week. Last week I expected it because Genevieve Sparling clearly couldn't care less about Clark. But Harvest was written by Septien & Meyer, the same people who gave us Identity and Salvation. He was incredibly underwritten here, in a way that genuinely surprised me, and really didn't work for me at all.//

Yes, exactly! Thankyou for articulating my frustration with the season, too. Clark' ST may be increased, but it certainly isn't translating into meaningful characterization for him.
