1/2 Hour News Hour
I have just given Fox News' faux Daily Show program, it's only chance. And, by chance, I mean that I was really bored and thought I should at least see what the right wing has been talking about.
So, so, so, so, so not funny. I laughed once during the hour, when they had a sketch about "Barack Obama Magazine." Yes. We get it. Democrats who like Obama don't just like him, they love him. Blah blah blah.
The rest was just offensive. Instead of pointing out the absurdity of politics (and the Democrats, I suppose since it is on Fox), it just made fun of us. That's so completely different. They personally attacked people for their beliefs. And, some of the jokes were just old. Making cracks about Bill Clinton? Um...it's not funny once he's been out of office for six years.
"Six Degrees of Global Warming" was particularly painful. Not funny, even though it was true. Crappy weather in Denver this winter was partially caused by global warming. Oh, ha ha! Let's laugh at the poor people who were trapped in their homes for three months! Whoo-wee!
