I need to figure out what I'm going to do this summer. I'm going abroad, even if it's just for a short time, but I don't know where. Tickets to Tokyo are only $400 right now, and I'm moderately tempted to just book a flight in August, but, what would I do? See some friends, absolutely. I don't know. Unless I'm in a country studying, my parents won't let me go anyplace where I don't know friends (ha, or speak the language). That pretty much rules out most countries I'm interested in. Japan, or Norway. If I'm in Norway, I could see Jenny and Eline, and take a quarter of Norwegian. But, it would cost much more than going to Japan.
Arguh.
Okay. Added to the list of things to talk to the adviser about. Undergraduate grants? Check. Class limitations language wise? Check. Summer studies abroad? Check and check.
