My front yard has gone a little downhill over the past few years. I have 2 lovely palm trees out front. Those are keepers. But everything else is getting overgrown and sloppy. My biggest pet peeve has been this bush by the front door.

Well, I had an interesting night.

My bedroom faces the street. It’s mostly a quiet street except in the morning, when people go to work. It's been warm, so I’ve been going to bed with the window open and the blinds down, but open, to let air in.

So yeah, I'm (very slowly) working on a bathroom remodel with JP's help. Yesterday I took a huge step. I picked up a combo sink and vanity. It was such a good deal, I'm a little suspicious. But it's exactly what I wanted.

A few weeks ago, I celebrated the two-year anniversary of buying my house. I'm so happy to be a homeowner, but over the past year, I have hardly done any home improvements. I'm planning on changing that soon.
