[ ...This is quite a lot to take in. These locals all seem practically lethargic to my message. So this must happen a lot. I imagine that most of what this says is true, which changes everything. Given the behavior of most people around here it would make sense that something like this would be created just to be handed out to people who allegedly share my fate.

However, even if everything this says is true, this document doesn't seem to touch down on what it is exactly that we're doing here.

Different scientists wanna do different things. Q'n Knowlton seem to want us to fix things up or somethin', but they're doin' a poor job of providing the motivation.

What you will be doing here is surviving, I wouldn't worry about much else.

Motivation doesn't just drop down from the sky into your lap. You've got to come up with it on your own! Maybe rebuilding isn't such a bad idea! How many people are here, do you think?
