While thousands of nude models in Amsterdam took it all off in the name of 'art' this weekend, the people of Goodlands discussed creating a little art of their own.

American photographer Spencer Tunick recruited 2,000 people to pose nude in Amsterdam. The huge-scale nude scenes are typical of Tunick, who recently broke the world record by getting 18,000 people out of their clothes and in front of his lens in Mexico City.

However, the people of Goodlands would like to see a few changes when Tunick comes to their village.

"Christ, you'd think they'd all catch a cold or something" noted former water manager Hubert Hill. "Just standing around all naked, it sounds more like a dirty magazine than art."

Hill's wife, Betty, was more impressed than disgusted. "They're all so thin and fit, they must really watch their trans fats. I think some people around here could get lessons from those naked folks."

"The only thing that worries me" explained Goodlands mayor Sam Miller "is that he makes us all take our clothes off when he comes here to do our picture."

Ward 1 councillor Sandy Johnson immediately backed up Miller's concerns: "He's been to Cleveland, he's been to Mexico City, and he's been to Amsterdam. If he's hitting up all the big cities, it's only natural that he'd come to Goodlands eventually."

"but we're not taking our clothes off. We're not like those crazy city folk that go to nude beaches."
