A recent budget proposal by local farmer George Dubya Jr. received harsh criticism at the local MACC office earlier today. The reaction from loan officer Willy Taves was especially critical of the farmer's 2007 farm budget. "I mean, really, I'm not the best looking fellow in the world, but do I look this stupid?"
The proposal was based on Dubya Jr.'s own family-owned farm, and, in the opinion of Mr. Dubya himself, would have brought the operation "out of the red, where the commies are."
According to Taves, the budget would have done nothing of the sort.
"Christ, he wants to cut spending on veterinary health for his cattle, plow out all the trees in his back pasture, and then spend the savings on new hunting rifles and ammo. What the hell kind of farm is he trying to run here?"
Dubya insists that the hunting rifles and ammunition are critical for home & land security. "You never know when you need to kill something until it's really really dead. Especially if it's funny coloured."
However, Taves is still refusing to lend any funds for the proposed budget. "There is no way that MACC is willing to give money to this lunatic so he can go shoot things in the forest. We're here to help farmers, not psychos."
