I'm Done With Law School (For a Minute)
Today marks 3 rather...dumb firsts.
Let's take the first first first, this is the first time I've ever not completed a class. No previous drops, no withdrawals, but I decided to take an incomplete in my Employee Pensions and Health Benefits seminar. This is pretty common, about 1/3rd of the class is doing it. The only grade is a paper and taking an incomplete doesn't affect your grade. The deadline is basically...graduation. But, I'm hoping to finish it in the two weeks between now and when I start work.
Now for the second first. This is the first vowel in my law school transcript! And I! WOOWOO! Now it's pronouncable!
And the third first. Around 3:00 today I logged in to upload my last take home exam. While opening the website, my phone rang. It was the firm I'm working for this summer asking if I'd like to celebrate being done with exams by going to a Yankees game tomorrow. How did they know?! During last semester's exams they sent me a keychain from Tiffany's that showed up while I was writing about the new Tiffany's store downtown for my Real Estate Deals class. This is spooky. Oh, so what's the first? I think free tickets counts as my first perk.
