I miss you, not in a Slint way, but I miss you

oh -- where the roads go. let's talk (write, type, speak) about paths. les mots who are synonymous to 'path' - road, route, way, course. the sameness and everything about it. my professor gave me something that he had written which supposedly was to help me with my paper about Emptiness (I write such pretentious shit), but instead helped me understand other things --

"My emotions are always right. How could it be otherwise? They are no different in kind from my seeing, tasting or feeling. To question their basic wisdom is to doubt the ground of my existence."

winter vacation has been good to me (and it does not end until january 20th!) I am incredibly broke. my bank account lists 37.50 us dollars. that is only because I took out most of my money before I left (as I thought I lost it, but only to be found in a friend's wallet) and spent it all on things in the city. I have a few checks to cash when I'm home. It is good that my parents aren't one of those people who cut their kids off at the age of 18.

New Years was beautiful.

I will be heading to California for spring break -- San FranSicko, San Diego and a short trip down to MeHico (this makes me want to break down to wyclef jean's perfect gentleman, coincidentally the anthem of my new years). My plane ticket dates the bay area march 10th - 25th. San Diego/Mexico should be somewhere around the 15th - 22nd.

I am having trouble finding a job for the summer. I have choices, but I want to return to the united states (perferably california) by the end of july/early august to either get a drivers license or enroll in a photo program at CCA (perhaps I will do both). I would like to get paid and I could work as a camp counselor, but the British system does not allow kids to get out until July.

My room is a black hole and I don't really want to clean it.

I call this place home now.
