Well, I kind of already knew that I was going to be at least slightly disappointed with the casting of Edward for the Twilight movie. But, I don't know about this.
Cedric Diggory didn't die! He's a vampire now! A vampire named Edward!
Well, all I know is that he better act the part damn well. He's just not how I picture the perfect Edward.
As long as she acts Bella well, I think she's a pretty good choice. It's just going to take me some getting used to for these two to be Edward and Bella in my mind.
Now I'm just incredibly curious who they're going to cast for the rest of the Cullens. Rosalie, in my opinion, would be the hardest of them to cast, but that's because she's supposed to be the most beautiful. It seems possible to me that they might cast a little too old for Esme and Carlisle. I hope they don't. I'm really curious who Alice will end up being, and I hope they don't let me down there. As for Emmett... well I never really developed a 100% clear picture of him in my head like I did for a lot of the others, so I'll easily be pleased with his casting.
After seeing Stephenie Meyer's dream casting before the movie was official, I kind of really do think John Reily would be a good choice. I can see him as Charlie. Oh and she also had Alice as Rachel Leigh Cook, which I can agree with.
Jacob may be harder to cast than any other. And it all depends on whether or not they're going to do movies for all the books or just resolve Twilight as one movie. And it matters in the fact that if they do more than one, their Jacob has some serious growing and beefing up to do between one and two and even from the beginning of two to not quite the middle-ish.
