i honestly amaze myself. not in the best way, thought. it's mind-boggling to me how i can be over something in a week. maybe because 9/10 times it's insignificant and weak. i find out something i don't like, see a side to a person that i strongly dislike, continuously, and it completely reverses my feelings for them. danny. and now they're gone. i hate myself for falling into "like" too fast, and then getting out of them so quickly. easy come, easy go. that's basically how i've been functioning for the past 6 months, i've gotten used to it and now it's become a bad habit that i desperately need to break. if only i knew how. if only.
and now, after this weekend.. here i go again. again. although this time is round two. danny served as a great distraction for a while, and now me and "he" [who will remain anonymous] have a great friendship, we're getting to become great friends. together all the time. goofing around. but yet, he's trying to get over her, one of my best friends. and i know it's hard for him, and i'm trying so hard to help him out. i hate to see his heart break. and after this weekend, i can't help but to think, "what if?" after things blow over, and he moves on. there always seems to be a spark present. even in the tiniest way. and it's alluring, i can't help it. it's crazy and too many times i'm trying to push the thoughts out of my head, and end up slapping myself across the face in order to distract myself. i can't keep thinking like this, not now. not for a while.
ugh. i hate the ups & downs of teenage romance.
i could write a friggen soap opera with all my pointless thoughts.
