the 24-hour relay
ahh, the 24 hour relay was a blast! i had so much fun. our team got at the highschool at about 8, i'm guessing. we ran 11 miles each, which is alright, i guess. i'm so friggen sore though, i haven't even walked that much in the past month! lol. madison, jackie & matt (from algebra class) were doing it too, so i had a fun time hanging out with them. cherice, mona and i stuck together (we're on the same team). we blew bubbles, drew in some coloring books i brought, and just had a great time. i felt like a little kid again. then, last night there was a lip-synching contest too! cherice, sydni, noelle and i did a dance to "come on over" by christina aguilera (old song!), but it all went good. i think we got 2nd or something. matt taught me how to do the cotton eye joe, and we went for a hot chocolate run at 5AM this morning. we almost fell asleep at the concession stand, haha. i went through a whole role of film.. i'm going to get them developed today because i just can't wait to see how all the pictures turned out.
i'm bummed because i missed sara's birthday though :( the only downside of this weekend! i'm going to spend the rest of today sleeping and doing homework. and maybe i'll squeeze in some eating too, lol.
