Masterlist Quickly removing the examination gown, Kyungsoo got dressed again in record time. It was much more relaxing now that he had his clothing on and didn’t feel naked for the whole world to see. Heading towards the door, he was surprised to see the same nurse standing outside with that weird happy expression on her face. From the looks of it, she was acting like today was the best day in the world and Kyungsoo was some super star that she didn’t get to see often. “I’m ready to go.“ Kyungsoo told her quietly as she turned around and smiled even more. “Good, I’m so excited for you to meet you’re donor. You don’t know how lucky you are, you’re going to be thrilled. Just follow after me, Kyungsoo-sii.”
If things were weird before they just became worse. Following after her with a blank expression on his face, Kyungsoo was starting to think that she must be losing her mind or something. Why was she so happy and excited for him? Kyungsoo truly believes that nothing good will happen out of his pairing and he’s using every bit of self control to keep himself from freaking out and calling Baekhyun to come and get him.
Following behind the nurse, Kyungsoo finally arrived at a door where he would meet his donor. With a small pat on the shoulder from the nurse, he was hesitantly opened the door and sitting alone inside of the room was a young man. Looking at the young man with his slightly tanned skin, he had his head phones plugged in his ears and was moving his hands fluidly to the music that he heard. Normally Kyungsoo would find such behaviors to be down right adorable, but right now everything was dull and numb in his vision
Kyungsoo didn’t care that his Donor was more handsome than he could ever imagine. To be frank he didn’t care about this guy in the slightest and could only see the dark shadows haunting his face. Taking a step into the room, Kyungsoo bowed his head as he took a seat across from him. Without looking into the other‘s eyes or even general direction he introduced himself rather loudly, hoping that his Donor would hear him. “My name is Do Kyungsoo. I’m nineteen years old and I work as a waiter at Jeon Gwang-su COFFE HOUSE.” Kyungsoo tells him, just wanting to get this over with
Unlike Kyungsoo, his donor nearly jumped a foot in the air as he removed one of his headphones from his ear. Looking at Kyungsoo with an intense gaze, it took a few seconds before the other even seemed to comprehend that Kyungsoo was in front of him. Standing up awkwardly and bowing, Kyungsoo watched as his donor introduced himself. “Kyungsoo-sii, that‘s what you said right. My name is Kim Jongin. I just turned eighteen a few days ago and I am the lead dancer of the group Terrene. Most of my fan’s know me as Kai, so you can call me either Jongin or Kai.” Jongin finished as he took a seat across from Kyungsoo and stared at him until Kyungsoo noticed that there was a slight smile on his face.
Hearing that Jongin was a member of Terrene, Kyungsoo could remember a little bit about that group, mainly the stuff that Baekhyun had told him, they weren’t Kyungsoo’s favorite group but he knew their names and a few of their songs. From what Kyungsoo knew, the group had four members. Kai, Luhan, Chen and Lay. From his knowledge, the idol groups had been performing together for the last four years. They started really young knew so far all of the members except Jongin had been joined together with their partners. After all, Jongin was the last to turn eighteen. Unlike in the past, many fans had come to know and somewhat accept that their beloved idols were taken by others. Joinings were required by the world, so it was a reality that was set in stone. Just like with the music industry, it was very censored now and it was shocking that Terrene could become as popular as they are. Right now, the group was on break since their member Luhan wasn’t able to perform in his condition. But, that didn’t stop Chen and Jongin from doing their own solo performances to keep the group in the public‘s eyes
It was interesting to think that his donor happened to be someone famous, and handsome he had to admit, but those thoughts were washed away as he remembered where he was and why they were meeting. Watching Jongin without any emotion on his face, Kyungsoo was puzzled as Jongin stared even more at Kyungsoo until his small smile became even brighter
“You know, I’m surprised that you’re as handsome as you are. I would have thought you were an idol as well.“ Jongin teased, although Kyungsoo simply stared blankly at those words. “I think that we’ll be good together, I can’t lie but I’m kind of excited to start our life together. I‘ve heard lots of stories from Jongdae whenever he and Minseok first meet, I can‘t wait for us-&ldquo
A loud sarcastic laugh came out of Kyungsoo because of those words. “Are you kidding me, excited? How could I possibly be excited?” Kyungsoo hissed the words, knowing that all the sweet talking that he was hearing must be because Jongin just wanted to gain his trust so he could lock him up. A look of pure puzzlement covered Jongin’s features but luckily he didn’t say anything about it. A smart move, Kyungsoo thought. Instead, the pair ended up waiting there awkwardly for the doctor to come.
Luckily before Kyungsoo could burn a hole into the wall with all the glaring that was happening, the door opened up as Doctor Kwon came inside with a bright smile on her face. “Kim Jongin, Do Kyungsoo, congratulations! I’m so happy for the two of you, I just received the test results back and it confirmed what I was speculating during the ultrasound. Kyungsoo, you have a natural uterus and won’t be needing a transplant.” The words seemed to occur in slow motion, Kyungsoo’s eyes widened as his breathe started to speed up. Kyungsoo wasn’t even able to calm down as she continued along
“Your uterus is one of the healthiest ones that we have seen in this clinic, it only will need a few weeks of estrogen injections for your reproductive system will awaken from it’s dormant state. If the injections are successful and you start producing eggs, then we will be able to gather a few of them in two months and began fertilizing two of the eggs so that we can return them to your body and try our hand at getting you pregnant. Until that time, I have this prescription for you to pick up. It’s three weeks of estrogen injections that you will need to do twice a day on either your inner thigh or above the buttocks. It’s a very simple type where you press it where it needs to go and press the switch, although I would recommend that you have your donor help you would. You wouldn’t mind doing that, would you Jongin-sii? Now, I have your second appointment scheduled for two weeks from today and we will give you a stronger injection with your partner by his side. So I will see the two of you them. Congratulations, once again.&rdquo
Every single word that she was saying was falling on deaf ears. It was happening too fast. Kyungsoo clenched tightly on the table, trying not to break down in front of everyone. But the words were echoing in his head. Natural. Healthy. Uterus. He was a freak of nature. This meant that he would have the child fast. And it was entirely Jongin’s fault. If Jongin didn’t turn eighteen and became his partner, then he wouldn‘t have learned about how much of a freak he was. Jongin was making him do this. Carry his baby. The government didn’t let him live a happy life. All because they wanted him to be Jongin’s carrier. It would be so much easier for him to deliver a child unlike with Baekhyun. What would Baekhyun say? Would he hate him? Kyungsoo would rather be a sterile than to do this alone. He can’t do this. He can’t
As soon as the Doctor Kwon exited through the door, the shaking and stuttering became even worse as Kyungsoo fell out of his chair. Speaking nonsense Kyungsoo was having a panic attack, but it didn’t matter any longer. He was wrong, this was wrong. Jongin watched in horror as his carrier broke down before his eyes and Jongin wasn’t sure what to do for his partner. Heading over to where Kyungsoo was shaking and nearly falling out of his chair, Jongin reached down and wrapped an arm around Kyungsoo’s thin waist as he helped him stand. Seeing the young nurse rush in with a startled expression, Jongin turned to her with a blank expression on his face
“I’m going to go ahead and take Kyungsoo home, that way I can look after him. He… I don’t even know. We’ll be ready for the next appointment so have a good day.” Jongin explains, as he started to lead Kyungsoo out of the room and to where his own car was parked. Kyungsoo couldn’t even realize that he was being led as he shakes more and breathes faster.
