General Update
Izzy is feeling better. He still has a mild cough that is lingering. Between our traveling over Thanksgiving and his cold he hasnt gone back to a good sleeping pattern. In fact it seems to be getting worse. Last night he woke every two hours. I tried just rocking him, rather than feeding him, since he shouldnt be hungry. The only thing that calms him is to eat. However, I'm realizing that he is using me more like a pacifier cause he isnt really eating much. His other new behavior is that he rarely takes a pacifier. We think that when he was congested he couldnt breath well with it and now he doesnt want it anymore. I'm reading some books about getting infants to sleep better, hopefully we will get some good ideas from them.
We started Izzy on solids, well rice cereal. He seems to like it. Everyone kept telling us to expect a big mess but he really wasnt bad. Gonzo fed him the first time since I have been the primary feeder up until now. Of course he had food all over his face but that was about it. We took pictures and will post soon. We are increasing to two feedings and we will go from there to veggies and fruits. Introducing one food at a time.
Gonzo and I havent done any holiday shopping yet. Yikes!
