Classroom moved.... and disrupted

I will probably be ranting and bitching about this hiccup in my workplace, but when you teach art and have 4 times your weight in art supplies to move and account for, this is a big deal.
Yesterday I had my classroom for work moved, mid class. I teach an after school program, and I was told by the Principal to relocate from the second floor to the first floor. The reasoning, which I can kind of sympathize with, is that my program was the only after school program taking place in the second floor. They wanted me downstairs with the rest of the after school programs. However this was such an poorly thought out and ill-conceived move. They just stuck me in whatever classroom was available with no consideration to storage space, or access to the janitor's closet for when I lead a painting project. The previous classroom had those considerations. There are wall lockers, but they are made to be shared by four students each, and partitioned as such. I cannot store anything that bigger than 9"x12" construction paper, and magazines in the lockers. I cannot fit my marker boxes, I cannot fit my colored pencil boxes or my paints. I once again have to traverse the school to access my materials, and there is no decent location where to place a cabinet or portable storage closet. It just seems like such a flippant decision which was rammed down my throat. for additional storage to make up for the lack of storage space in the new classroom, I was given a rolling cart. I have nothing where to semi-securely store my student's work without some risk of vandalism (which as already been an issue).
Beyond this... I don't know if I have words to describe how I feel about this whole debacle beyond displeased.
