Google feeds

The really irritating thing about having google feeds on your f-list is that they can't tell the difference between an article on the subject of your search term and an article that mentions it in passing. This in itself is not annoying, it's when the same almost entirely irrelevant article appears twenty or thirty times because it's been reproduced on lots of different websites, and this happens so many times you get to skip=560 when you only checked your friends page the previous night. However, every now and again something completely irrelevant manages to be giggle-worthy. The following started popping up on one of my feeds a couple of months ago, and today it's surfaced again. It's some woman's bio that appears at the end of her articles.

A.L. Harper is a freelance writer and motorbike fanatic originally from Salt Lake City, now living in Scotland. She grew up as a Punk/Goth in the 80’s and these artistic influences have stayed with her, although a love of Chopin, chamber music and acoustic guitar would seem to decry this. In addition to her duties with BC she is the Reviews Editor for AllThingsGirl.com. She hopes to one day grow up and marry Steve McQueen. But, if he is still dead, Ewan McGregor would do.

Ewan McGregor dead? News to me. And ok, I have to admit, a dead Ewan McGregor might just tempt me towards necrophilia. But she only wants him if he's still dead. I suppose she's wary of zombies.
