I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with memes, the only one I've really liked lately is that one about the closest book to you. I haven't done it because the closest book to me is a Collins Reference English Dictionary. The second closest book is invariably a textbook of some kind. I saw this meme go around ages ago, and I didn't really feel like doing it at the time because I was feeling a bit paranoid, but curiosity has grabbed me today. Stolen from whoever did it last, whoever they may be.

Tell me in one word, one sentence or a paragraph. Hell, write me a novel if you want. Why is this journal on your friends list?

Edit: my motive for posting this now is not to get people saying nice things, it's to find out roughly who is reading what in terms of the kinds of thing I post, and if anyone at all reads my fanfiction.
