Going to start a new series hopefully...analyzing manga panels I think are especially, interesting, beautiful or noteworthy.
We'll start with this one from Pandora Hearts, from the Unbirthday chapter.
What I love about this is that it is so simple, yet says so much. Echo looks at Break from a distance, a touch of fear in her eyes. She must remember the last time she encountered the man, in Sablier: he ran his sword through her, then impaled her hand to the ground. At that time he spoke words that indicated he knows her secret...her split personality, who she really is. No dialog is needed, but you Just Know, and are Reminded. Love that.
