SO.
Tuesday, April 4th we played a show at the Rotunda with Strength for a Reason, Shutout, and Passion. The sound kinda sucks in there but whatever. After SFAR played me, Justin, Stevie, Bill Derka and John went to get pizza. THE PEOPLE THERE SCREWED UP OUR ORDER at least twice, so it took us forever to get back to the show. By the time we got back, Passion was pretty much done playing. LAME! I was so pissed. Afterwards me, Bill Derka, Chuck and Wayne went to Gino's. Chuck left his bookbag in my car. Well, my mom's car.
Last Friday (April 7th).....
WEIRD FREAKING NIGHT.
I took the train to Justin's house around 4. He was a gentleman and met me there without me even asking him to. A little bit before 5 I got to 30th street station, found Justin, then we walked around, he got some food and we walked back to his place. I helped him clean and re-arrange his family room area and it turned out looking really nice. I met up with Chuck down at the corner so I could give him his bookbag. Around 8:30 people started to show up. There were a ton of people there.... Ben, Bill Derka, Wayne, John, Jodie, Dave, Stu, Jess (Justin's roomate) and a bunch of her friends... I can't remember who else. Jay was supposed to come, but he ended up staying at Jimmy's house. We started off at Justin's place.... hung out there 'til the Flyers game was over. The Flyers played the Sabres... Flyers won. After that Jess got a call from someone and was like, "YO, THERE'S A KEGGER 6 BLOCKS FROM HERE". We all decided to go to that. hahahaha. So like 16 of us walked 6 blocks to this keg party full of brodies and drunk college girls that no one knew. The whole house was FULL of people. We didn't know anyone except the people we came with. Anyway, we walk upstairs to where the deck is.... The deck was so crowded you can barely even move. And when people did move, you could feel the deck move. It felt like it was about to collapse. haha. We were there for about 45 minutes or so, and then the cops came so we left. Then we went to one of Jess's friennds house. We walk in and there's this hookah laying on the coffee table and the only lighting were these Christmas lights. It looked like something out of a movie. John kept falling asleep. By the time we left he was pretty much passed out. The 7 of us remaining had to CARRY HIM back to Jess and Justin's apartment like 7 BLOCKS AWAY. What a disaster, but it was hilarious. John was totally passed out, we carried him by grabbing onto whatever body parts of his we could.
He seriously WOULD NOT respond. He really was 100% passed out. HIs clothes kept slipping off of him.
We even got stopped by the cops, but Justin said he had no health insurance so the cop was like, "WELL PULL UP HIS PANTS AND GET HIM HOME..... NOW" . At one point we needed to catch our breath (it was realyl fucking hard carrying him) so we put him on the sidewalk and this homeless dude comes walking by, almost trips over him, and goes, "Now, THAT'S something you don't see every day".... He got a picture with him.
FINALLY got him back to Justin and Jess's apartment. TOOK FOREVER. It was the longest 6-7 blocks ever.
When we got back, Bill and Jodie worked up quite a sweat so they stripped down to cool off.
Yeah.
Interesting night.
I slept over at Justin's.
In the morning, John woke up pretty okay. He said the only thing that hurt was his one shoulder. Lucky him, haha. He was missing his wallet, though, and it was pouring outside.
Despite the rain, we (Him, Jess, me and Justin) walked around in hopes to find his wallet on the way to get breakfast at Little Pete's. We walked back to the apartment again, hung out for a while, and then Justin walked me back to the train station. It was my brother's birthday. He had gotten his permit. haha I waited for like 3 months to get mine after my 16th birthday. Anyway, me, my mom, and Glenn all went to Best Buy and I bought him Narnia (the collectors edition with the awesome packaging) and then we went back home and then out to dinner at Outback. I got this AWESOME smoothie there. A coco-berry smoothie. Coconut w/ strawberries. It was BANGIN'!!!!!
Sunday was the family party here.
My aunt Jo made the banana pudding cake that I LOVE. And my mom made a HUGE fruit salad. NICE.
Monday night I went over to Justin's house with Dave. We just hung out for a while and went to 7-11 and watched Prisonbreak and 24. Pat came over for a little bit after he was done his classes.
Tuesday we practiced at Joe Smiley's studio. It was neat there. I brought my leftovers from Outback and got there early so I could eat my dinner! We had a solid practice. I'm glad. We needed it..... BAD!
Wednesday I didn't do anything, I don't think.
Thursday Tony and Colin picked me up and we went to the Cash In/ One Dead show at CN Skate Palace. So many youngin's!! It was still really fun, though. I'm glad I got to hang out with Michelle, Lisa and Bildo 'cuz I haven't seen them in a long time. haha I probably haven't seen Michelle since the time I was "snowed in" at her apartment! Too long ago. Anyway, the bands all sucked and sounded the same except for cash in/ one dead/ and Tony's brother's band. I'm glad I didn't end up paying. We put really gay-looking removable "chest-piece" tattoos on Billdo and on Bob's brother. We put them on their necks. Bill's came out better, though. I have pictures but I don't have them on my computer, yet. Kirsty got dropped off there after her parents got her at the train. I tried to kick her crutches while she was walking with them and she hit me real hard in the leg. NOW THERE'S A BIG BRUISE. hahahaha her foot is all swollen and yellow. SHE'S A MUTANT. Awwwww, poor Kirsty. snap, CANKLE, and pop. hahahahaha :) When everyone was packing up their equipment I raced Jay down the rink on his yellow big bird flight case and he got on his black one. My band needs to get those. 4 reel.
Afterwards a lot of people went over to Kirsty's house. The look on Jim Fox's face when he saw Kirsty's basement was priceless. We hung out and watched some Anthrax concert on On Demand, people played bubble hockey and pacman, and then we watched Constantine.
