So I had three - count 'em, THREE - hockey anxiety related dreams last night.... this seems excessive. It does occur to me that there are two main benefits to Philly bringing Montreal to a quick end over the next couple of games:

1). All this stress and anxiety will stop.

2). I can go to Europe without regretting missing the Stanley Cup finals. (Plus LEAVING THE COUNTRY is the only rational way to deal with crushing hockey angst).

Today's game is at 3pm. Wtf, man, I am not watching that when I live in a country that only gets like 30 days of nice weather a year. Screw you, NBC, I assume this hockey blasphemy is 100 percent your fault.

Yes, my life has been very difficult of late.

In other news, Friend S and I have been slowly been watching The Tudors over the last year. We finally finished S2 the other week and I don't waaaaaaaaaaant to watch anymore now that Anne Boleyn has been beheaded.

She's just so GORGEOUS and one of those actresses who makes everyone around her better. As the show drew closer to her beheading, I found that I was holding my breath through all her scenes. And her actual beheading had me in tears, omg it was so powerful. I would happily watch Natalie Dormer in anything, but aside from The Tudors, her resume is sadly lacking. Humph.

How fascinated am I by Anne Boleyn now? SO fascinated. She was so intelligent and powerful and manipulative... and changed the entire course of British history forever. My Scottish ancestors would have been Catholic if it wasn't for her. And ultimately she was so, so tragic.

Does anyone have any book recommendations re: Anne Boleyn? I now have a strong desire to read everything about her that I possibly can.

i love anne boleyn, hockey = irrational canadian rage, habs, the tudors, montreal canadiens, hockey, go habs go
