Eeeek! Only two more days!!
Tonight I hope to attend a SCA "Newcomers Meeting" , although I've yet to get directions, and I need to confirm that it is still at Lady Marsaili's home.
Hopefully the meeting will give me some more guidance on what to wear and bring to the Tournament of Love and Beauty this weekend. I also need to connect with Lady Millicent Chandler to pick up the loaner barbette and fillet to complete my outfit.
A few questions:
1) Did early 14th century women wear stockings, and should I figure out how to make a pair in the next two days?
2) What should I wear on my feet for shoes that would more closely resemble the period (other than the dreaded tennis shoes I currently have in my closet)?
3) I think it will be cold on Saturday. Should I wear my Renn Fest cape with a hood, or should I try to fashion something else more period?
