There were jokes about having Daniel wear body glitter. I am very scared.

Two to three weeks without my own computer/internet seemed like a fairly short time, until I was in the middle of it. I don't think my computer has shipped yet, let alone on its way here. Blah. It's bad enough that I have to use my in-laws' computer for internet, but now they only have one phone line so I have to wait hours for them to get off of ( Read more... )

This is a sort of flyby comment; I am up to my ears in homework =__=

I am quite horrified at the body glitter thing, because, really now? Body glitter? D-Do not want.

As for the Twilight thing, you already know my thoughts on that in general. Do watch it, enjoy it, and please tell me about the funny parts later? ♥ Bella obviously has misplaced her brain, so her judgment isn't all that sound. *laughs*

Bella has no personality because the author wants fans to read the book and believe themselves to be her.

Her boyfriend has no personality because they want girls to want him.

Oh yes. I am quite aware of this, but it doesn't really help. What personality Bella *does* have is pretty much selfish and whiny, yay. :p What a great role model, especially considering how she has to be rescued all the time and carried around by Edward.

I agree about the Taylor thing *shot*

Urgh I so agree with you three over Bella & Edward. My constant reminder of them is my second sis who keeps rubbing into my face that Bella's so..... gorgeous. Okay, wut...? XD I still don't get the fame & fuss. I'd understand Glass Fortress's though (It should really get published once people in general are not so homo-phobic :X)

There are like 101 teen novels out there which all stink because the main character's always, cool, pretty and perfect to a capital P, within a love triangle of two drop-dead gorgeous vamps. *cough**House of Nights**cough* -.- And they're all selfish & whiny.

Ahaha. Unfortunately fanfic doesn't typically get published, for legal reasons. XD (Unless you count things based on classic novels, like Wicked and Pride & Prejudice & Zombies. Man, I wish I'd thought of the latter first. I hear the guy even got a movie deal... just from throwing the word zombie randomly into someone else's book. *grumbles*) But I'd like to write an original novel sometime, if the right idea comes around.

Some of the teen novels are good, though. Many of my favorite books are YA fiction. *laughs* Although it's true, there are a lot of incredibly shallow series out there that are popular. The ones I like tend to be the more obscure. :X And can the vampire obsession be over now, please? It's getting REALLY ridiculous. Pretty much every other new movie or TV show seems to have something to do with them these days.

Yeah. It's pretty horrifying. At least they're joking, I'm pretty sure...? o_O Daniel wouldn't do it anyway, but it's scary enough that they suggested it. Twimoms. *shudder*

I will certainly tell you what I think of it, haha.
