So I didn't actually get to drive the bus today. Which was fine, honestly; I don't know the A line that well and there was construction on G line (I was going to practice those 2 with my trainer, Lisa), so yeah. The bus we were going to use was in the shop, so instead I got my background check paperwork from Hurley (bus Ops Trainer) and made an appointment with the campus PD to get fingerprinted tomorrow...joy ;).Then I went to the ARC and stretched, which felt so good, and then took one of those crazy toning/aerobics classes...which didn't feel very good, but made me feel less lazy and out of shape. Plus I should take advantage of the ARC this week before I have to switch back to driving across town to 24 hour hour fitness.
I met with Jen Klier(!) and so it looks like either I'm not going to be a core leader at all, or I might be sort of like a core group "apprentice" next year which would mean I would be paired with someone who's done core before and I would be like a CoFa intern, basically. And the pressure would be off a little bit, which would be great, because, let's face it, no matter how deep in denial I am, I can't do everything I want to. School (which, umm, needs more attention if I want not to get kicked out...), Unitrans, ADX (because going inactive would be super lame), DCF large group, Core group, City Gate, time with Alan :), and oh yeah time to breathe(!), just don't all fit in the same quarter. Until days start being 50 hours long, that is (someone let me know when Hell freezes over and that actually happens please). So basically it's really good that they didn't get back to me right away about being a CoFa, cuz I would have done it and then lost my mind (or more of it anyway ) Turns out God knows what he's doing, as usual ;)
