Haaaaaaha, hi guys. XD
I bet half of you never thought I would even try to finish this, let alone ever mention it again. But hey, here I am. Sure, I've forgotten everything that happened in my story (and I wrote it too. XD), but I'm going to trudge on anyways and see if I can conclude this sucker.
For those of you who forgot where all the characters were (and who they were XD), I'll give you a quick up to speed replay.
When last we left our heroes (all of 25 of them, I think >_>), UC, Lucky, Hana, Anony, Mina, Fish, Phil, Mech, Eric, Mr. Rogers, Peanut, Ark Jamie, Roy, Johnnie, and Gene had just entered the main control room where Moon, Jon Clement, Luneth and Oro were waiting. This is also where our princesses, I mean, mods, Goldy, Rushia and Corrie were tied up and waiting, unable to do much of anything except sneeze.
Nate, Pere, and Tali had just been saved by Nette in the sewers and are now heading to the surface to release the contents in the vial that Shooby gave Nate. And Shooby was sitting in his office, with the door locked (because the now humor-less patients were bent on killing anyone with a chuckle left in them, plus they are pounding on the office door). Shooby is not fazed though. He is continuing to watch episodes of NCIS on his mini TV and chuckling.
Jaden is somewhere, but I can’t say where right now. >_>;
But, back to the control room. Now that we know, generally, where everyone is, let’s start taking this to the end. I expect to write at least two more chapters after this one.
Comments and crits are very welcome as always. And in all honesty, if you didn't give up hope on me, I don't really care if you comment or not. XD
----------------------------------------------
What emerged from behind the curtain was not human, and it was huge.
“No, it can’t be…..how did it get that big?” Corrie whispered, yet her voice filled the deadly silent room.
The creature from behind the curtain fully emerged out into the open. It was about 20 feet tall (and even wider) and resembled a spider, only with shorter legs and massive body all covered in eye balls, all in different sizes. Its eyes dodged from left to right and dark green slime was oozing from its body, giving off a powerful stench.
Rushia wrinkled her nose, “Now we know why they left it behind the curtain.”
“Ummm, excuse my noobishness” Hana began, “but what the heck is that thing?”
“It’s a Nahc4.” UC solemnly replied, glancing back at Lucky’s phone, which he still held in his hand If only you had been a bit faster, Ich, “They are usually just pests, and never get this big. They must have been keeping it hidden away for a while.”
“Silence fools!” Moon was over by the computer’s control panel. He hit a large blue button and up from the floor came leg clamps that secured themselves onto to all the alliance members’ ankles (except Goldy, Rushia and Corrie, who are obviously tied up already).
“Okay, that’s just a little too perfect.” Fish commented, tugging at his legs, “How did he know where we were going to stand?”
“Because I’m better than you!” Moon boomed, walking in front of the Nahc4, “I spent 10 long years hiding away, using these morons to distract you.” The creature inclined its head (or what everyone thought was its head) towards Moon, Oro, Jon, and Luneth. Moon continued, obviously speaking for the Nahc4, “Two years ago, there was a ray of hope. The alliance disbanded and I thought that was my big chance. But, your idiot of the leader put up a barrier preventing me from accomplishing my goal until I became more powerful. But now, you shall witness me gobble up every last bit of laughter and lulz in this world, then I will put an end to your pesky alliance and the rest of this insufferable world once and for all.”
“No way!” Eric piped up, “Even if we have to die, we’re taking you with us, fatty! Taking you straight to hell!”
“You tell him, Eric!” Peanut yelled back.
“I don’t really want to go to hell, guys…” Lucky laughed nervously.
Something on the computer monitor lit up and the controls started to make a whole bunch of noise. A few of the Nahc4’s eyes glanced back at the controls.
“Perfect, it’s time. The end of the world has come.”
“Well, shoot.” Ark spit, then looked up at the ceiling and noticed something very peculiar; a saw of some sort was cutting a circle in the roof in the middle of the room.
On the roof of the super secret base of MoonRockDragon:
Two figures dressed all in black with black ski masks on were bent over a spot on the roof. One of them was sawing a hole with a diamond blade saw.
“Hurry, honey. They could be all dead by now.” The figure who was not sawing said (it sounded like a woman).
“Don’t worry, I’ve almost got it, darling. Have you got the ropes read to lower us down there?” the vigorously sawing figure asked (this sounded like a man).
“Of course!” the woman motioned to the two ropes anchored to a nearby chimney and each one clipped securely to both of them, “I’ve had it ready for a whole five minutes!”
“Shhh, keep it down, please, dearest. If they hear us, we’re done for….and that’s it!” The man set down its saw and pulled off the circle he had just cut. Both figures looked down the hole.
“Ladies first.” The man said sweetly.
“Pfht! You’re just scared. I can’t believe I married you.” The woman said.
“Maybe it was because I’m so handsome.”
“Yeah, probably.” The women figure kissed the other figure on the cheek through her ski mask and jumped down through the hole, the other figure quickly followed her.
“We’re almost there.” Nate said, looking at his GPS.
“Perfect, there’s a manhole just up ahead.” Nette said, leading the way because she had the brightest flashlight and the largest gun.
“So, Nate, why are we going to Oklahoma? Shooby never said.” Pere asked.
“In all honesty, I’m not even sure, but apparently this,” Nate pulled out the vial, “is going to save the world.”
“They put saving the world in your hands?” Tali said in mock disbelief.
“As people who may be strangled by ‘serious zombies’ when we reach the surface, I don’t think we have much room to complain.” Nette said, while still walking forward.
Nate looked down at the vial in his hand. The fate of the world, the fate of all humor itself was in his hands. He suddenly felt very worried.
“Come on, guys, we have 19 smart people in this room, someone has got to have an idea!” Goldy struggled with no avail at the ropes that bound her. The others were trying to free their feet, but with no luck either.
“It’s useless to resist, just accept you’re fate!” Nahc4 laughed through Moon’s voice.
“Never!” said Corrie, “Especially not from someone who improperly uses apostrophes.”
Nahc4 ignored her and continued to watch the computer, “So far, so good. No trouble…” he mumbled to himself.
“Trouble?” a man’s voice shouted for above.
“Prepare for trouble!” a woman’s voice shouted as she dropped from the ceiling, dressed all in black and a ski mask.
“And make it double!” the man landed next the woman; he was also dressed in all black and a ski mask.
“To protect the world from-“ the woman continued
“Who the heck are you?!” Moon’s voice interrupted.
The woman sighed, “Introductions don’t come until later in the speech, but I suppose it doesn’t matter.” She pulled off her ski mask and the man pulled off his mask as well.
“Ashley? Nick?” Ark called out.
“Hi guys!” Ashley said, “Did you miss us?”
