Part five of the CAA fanfic - There's no stopping now.

Part 5:

Author's notes: Just one random thing to note. The member's classes; since I mentioned them a bit last chapter and may continue to use them a bit more, just for security clearance purposes, I decided to make a helpful list to keep them all straight.

Class 3 members - These are new or newer recruits to the alliance. Due to the period of when this story is set, we probably won't see any of this class(unless I can find a way to squeeze one in)
Class 2 members - This is the category which most characters in this story fall into. This class is for the more well known members of the alliance or ones that have been around for a long time. (e.g. Lucky/Tsuki, Fish, Jamie/Kkun, Eric/SolidRonin, etc)
Class 1 members - Class 2 members that were recently given a higher rank in the standing of the alliance. Meaning, they're rather new to leading, but still have skills to get the job done. (e.g. Goldy and Rushia)
Class 0 members - Long time high ranking members and a lot more skilled than the Class 1 members (e.g. Shooby and Corrie.)
Class 00 members - Basically the top of the totem pole. They can do everything and anything. (e.g. Ashley, M.I.T.H., and formerly, Ark)

Good, that boring list is settled, now on with the show. I can't believe I've been doing this for five weeks already. It seems like yesterday that I first started. XD

Oh, and one more thing, for those of your who don't know, "Chatty" is the Chatbot(from the CAA chat, you should go there sometime) and who is otherwise known as M.I.T.H.'s daughter.

Comments and constructive criticism are welcome, as always.

10 minutes before submarine system is hacked by Ark:

Luneth walked with a spring in his step to the submarine's control room. He smiled, thinking of The Grammar Ranger being trapped in his grasp. He hadn't been this happy since his clone battle with the alliance. He had lost that battle, but it had been so much fun. Luneth's eye's twinkled as he pressed a few buttons on the main control computer.
"Let's see how Toonman is doing..." Luneth talked aloud to himself; he was still wearing the translator. He pressed a few more buttons and a figure of a man came up on the screen.
"What do you want?" the figure growled.
"Now, that's no way to talk to a friend." Luneth tried to sound hurt, "I just wanted to see how you were doing, Toony."
Toonman's figure shifted slightly on the screen as he glance at Luneth, then looked off in a random direction, "You just called to gloat, admit it."
"Weeeeeell," Luneth still couldn't wipe the ridiculous smile off his face, "I have been rather clever, but really, I want to share in your happiness too. Did you capture, oh, what's his name?"
Toonman shifted again on the screen, "I did catch the muslim, but he got away."
"Really?" Luneth replied, half interested, "I didn't think anyone would be capable of that; getting away from you, that is." Luneth pulled a chocolate bar from his pocket and started eating it.
"He shouldn't have either," Toonman replied with a bit more passion, "I had him in my power. I was going to make him suffer like I suffered. But, he got away." Toonman looked directly into the screen. "He had help."
This made Luneth stop short in his next bite of candy bar and looked intently at Toonman.
"That shouldn't have made a difference, I know." Toonman continued, "I could take ten of those alliance members with my hands tied behind my back. But I had never seen this one before. He was tall, clothed in all black, and his face was covered as well. The only two distinct features about him were his waist length silver hair and he carried long, slim sword."
"I thought you knew all the notable alliance members." Luneth replied, taking another bite of his chocolate bar, "You were in their ranks longer than I was."
"Yes, but like I said, this one was different. He defeated 50 of my men on his own and saved the muslim in the process. Some of the alliance members are good, but not that good." Toonman shifted again on the screen.
Luneth didn't respond back. This was an interesting development, not that it bothered him that much. None of the alliance members, whether he knew them or not, were any match for his cleverness. "So, the great Toonman is giving up?" Luneth smirked at the screen.
"You take me for a simpleton, boy. I don't lose that easily and I'm one step ahead of that alliance. I know where the muslim is and I will capture him again and maybe kill him this time if it comes to that. Though, I'd rather see him suffer." Toonman grinned, "So, if you and your ego will excuse me, I have a plan to carry out." Toonman bowed slightly and the screen went black.
Luneth took another bite of his candy bar thoughtfully, but almost choked on it when the submarine's siren alarms went off.
"Alert, alert! Computer breach!" the computer's female voice stated over the sub's speakers.
Luneth dropped his chocolate bar and began typing things into the computer.
"Gah, the system's locked! Why!?" Luneth kicked the computer, with tears of anger in his eyes. Then, he noticed, the sub was moving upward.
Luneth grabbed an intercom off the wall near the computer. "All units to your stations!"

Corrie was close to cutting the ropes holding her (with an apostrophe she had in her back pocket) when the siren alarms went off. She quickly finished cutting her arms free and began working getting her legs free as well.
"All units to your stations!" she heard Luneth's voice over the loud speakers.
Finally free, Corrie shook off the ropes, stood up, but almost fell back down by the shaking of the building, was it rising? Where exactly was she anyways? Before these questions could be answers, Corrie heard loud thumping all around her; the sound of metal hitting metal. Out of the walls, through sliding doors, came about eight large robots. Each looked rather humanish, stood on two legs, and had guns for arms. Corrie soon realize she was surrounded.
"You have escaped, we must capture you and take you to master." one of the robots said to Corrie.
"Good luck with that." Corrie pulled out several apostrophes and she shifted into a fighting stance, "But if you want to play, I can oblidge."

Ark leaned back in his computer chair, feeling quite happy with himself. It was all up to Jamie and Rushia now. Lucky looked over Ark's shoulder at the computer, phone still in hand, "How on earth did you do that? I mean, how did you raise that sub so quickly?"
Ark looked up at Lucky who was looking at him with innocent curiosity. "Weeell, I guess it couldn't hurt." He got up from his chair and walked over to the bookshelf, "This is meant for 00 class members' eyes only, so don't let it get around." He pulled off a thick paperback book off the top shelf and handed it to Lucky.
Lucky looked over the colorful cover and read the title. "I Know Where You Live: The quick and easy guide on getting rid of trolls, plus 401 other fun tips and tricks to help keep the world safe. Written by M.I.T.H."
"Pretty nice, huh? But like I said, keep it to yourself, we don't want that getting into the wrong hands." Ark took the book from Lucky, put it back up on the high book shelf, and slumped back down in his computer chair, waiting to hear from Jamie.

Goldy awoke with a start in the computer chair. It was just a dream, and a bad one too. She rubbed her eyes and yawned while looking at her watch. 10:34am. Goldy snapped fully awake suddenly and tapped the main computer's keyboard. The screen came on with a white background and a little emoticon face appeared. It looked much like this. "^_^"
"Chatty?" Goldy asked the computer quietly.
The emote on the screen yawned (^O^) and the sound of a little girl's yawn was heard throughout the base. Suddenly, the lights above Goldy came on, as did all the other computers and equipment in the room.
"All systems go, emergency power output: 80% and steady. Good morning, Aunt Goldy (^_^)" a young girl's voice from the computer said.
"Okay, who turned on the lights?" Eric grumbled from the doorway of the dorm he had been sleeping in. Apparently, when Goldy had powered Chatty up, all the lights in the base had been turned on, including the ones in the dorms. Eric was rubbing his eyes and not looking very happy.
"Hehe, the Ronin is not a morning person. (^_^)" Chatty giggled.
"Sorry Eric." Goldy replied with an innocent smile.
"Nah, it's fine, I didn't want to miss any of the action anyways." Eric stretched his arms above his head as he walked over to the main computer and pulled up an extra chair to sit by Goldy, "What have you found out?"
"Nothing yet, I just got started." Goldy replied, turning back to the screen, "I need you to scan a few things for me, Chatty."
"No problem. (^o^) What are they?" Chatty asked.
Goldy grabbed her bag, pulled out the large envelope, and took out the three copies of the threat letters and held them up to Chatty.
"Oh, papers? Place them over on the scanner to the right, please. (>_>/)"
Goldy got up and went over to the scanner that Chatty was looking at. Goldy lifted up the cover of the large scanned and placed all three sheets of paper facedown on the scanner and closed the cover over them, "Okay, all set." she replied as she walked back over to the computer.
The screen showed the text, "Processing results..." and after about ten seconds, the emote came back on the screen. (^_^)
"These are copies." Chatty said.
"Yes, they are." Goldly agreed with some disappointment in her voice, "They're all Lucky could afford to give me. Can you get any information from them?"
"A few things, yes. For starters, the magazine letters were all cut from the "Troll Universe Monthly", except for the indiviual members' names. The Grammar Ranger's letters were cut from GamePro, FishandChips' letters were cut from "Old Anime is the Best Anime" magazine, and Kaemerrite's letters are from an unknown soure. I've done two indepth searches and I still can't find the source for it. (~_~)"
"That's fine, Chatty." Goldy reassured in her sweetest voice possible, "What else did you find?"
"Oh! (^_^)" Chatty continued in her perky, little girl voice, "All the letters are on paper only sold in two countries, Ireland and Norway."
"Really? Who do we know that lives in Norway or Ireland." asked Eric.
A name instantly popped into Goldy's mind. But no, it couldn't be him, could it? He wouldn't put anyone in that much danger. He just wouldn't. Of course, everything in this mystery was strange, it seemed like almost anything could happen.

"Put your hands where I can see them." the voice behind Fish ordered. Fish raised his hands up near his head, slowly.
"Actually, take your coat off." the voice ordered, a little unstable this time and with less confidence.
"Seriously?" Fish responded back, without turning around, "Do you know how cold it is out here?"
"Just, just do it." the voice tried to regain back its former power, but still was shaking.
"Fine, fine." Fish took off his coat and let it fall to the ground. The gun was still pressed hard against the back of his head, "You don't seem like the hold up type, you know." Fish commented.
The man kept the gun to the back of Fish's head while he used his other hand to check Fish for weapons. After his search and finding no threat, the man pulled his gun away from Fish and stepped back a few steps.
"Why were you following me?" the man asked.
"I wasn't following you, you were-" Fish spun around and both men froze in surprise.
"Peanut?"
"Fish?"
"What the heck are you doing here?" they asked each other in unison.
"Or better yet, why were you pointing a gun to my head?" Fish raised his eyebrows in annoyance.
"How was I suppose to know it was you? You've been missing for two weeks!" Peanut snapped back. He holstered his gun, which he had been still holding, "You were the last person I expected to find here."
"Well, you know me, always full of surprises." Fish smirked. "But what are you doing here in Texas?"
"I got news of a troll prowling around here, so I came to check it out. Just to spy and report back, really. But I find you instead, rather odd, huh?" Peanut chuckled.
"Yeah, odd." Fish picked up his coat, "Well, out of anyone I could've met up with, I'm glad it was you Peanut. I mean, it could have been-" Fish stopped short as he spotted four dark figures heading towards from behind Peanut. Peanut whirled around to see what Fish was looking at, "Friends of your's?" he whispered.
"I'm not sure." Fish whispered back, but gave a sharp inhale when he realize who the main figure of the group was, "You've got to be kidding me."
"We meet again, Fish and Chips." an all too familiar voice announced, "This time, you will not get away so easily."
"Toonman," Fish narrowed his eyes, yet still tried to maintain a courteous smile, "So nice to see you again. Been well, I hope? Still at your trolling ways, I assume? Sorry to hear that. You know, if you-"
"Silence you infidel!" Toonman shouted back at Fish as he motioned to the other three figures (his goons, most likely) to surround Peanut and Fish. Toonman then pulled out a large rifle and pointed it at Peanut.

"Well, that helps us a bit, but not much." Goldy slumped against the back of the computer chair as she stared at the screen with Chatty's emote face still smiling (^_^).
"So our suspects are in Norway or Ireland?" Eric pondered while stroking his beard, "That should narrow it down, one would think."
"Yeah..." Goldy said quietly, "Hey Chatty, can you find anything else?"
"Well, yes, a bit more, but I think there's a bit more pressing issue outside. (^_^;)" Chatty replied as the screen flipped to a video camera view of the outside street near the trash can entrance to the base. Both Eric and Goldy leaned closer to the screen to make out what they were looking at.
"Is that Fish?" Eric asked.
"And Peanut?" Goldy added.
"Who's the guy with the gun?"
"Not sure...hold on, can we get sound, Chatty?"
Chatty answered by turning on the sound of the video.
"Now," the man (with the gun) on the screen started, "You will both kneel with your hands behind your head. Don't make me do this the hard way."
"Toonman!?" Goldy's eye's widened with shock, "He's been missing for two years. What is he doing here?"
"Apparently he's not missing anymore." Eric narrowed his eyes at the screen, "Either way, Fish and Peanut don't look like their in a good situation." Eric stood up, "Better go help 'em."
Goldy stood up as well and grabbed Eric by the arm, "Wait, I'll do it. I need someone to stay here and tell me if anything happens with them outside."
"But-" Eric started.
"I've been trained for this and it's my responsibilty to keep our members safe. I'm sorry, Eric, but I have to do this myself." Goldy opened a supply closet and pulled out what looked like an oversized squirt gun. It was a troll catcher, developed by Ashley, who was against actually killing trolls, but instead for capturing them and making them listen to the Barney song until their hearts were changed from evil ways. This gun had a rather sticky liquid inside that would wrap itself around it's victim; making escape impossible.
Goldy tossed Eric a little earpiece with a microphone attached and put one on herself. "Let me know if anything changes up there." she cocked the gun and headed to one of the doors on the right A wall, which contained a ladder that lead up to the surface.
Eric fitted the earpiece on, "Fine, I'll let you have all the fun this time, but you owe me; 6 billion freaking times, you owe me..." he turned back to the screen.
"You bet, Eric." Goldy winked and started climbing up the ladder.

"So, any bright ideas in that creative head of your's, Fish?" Peanut muttered as he knelt down by Fish due to Toonman's orders.
"Give me a minute, it's still early in the morning." Fish whispered back.
Toonman pointed at Peanut and said to one of his goons, "Take his gun, I don't want any unnecessary violence." he smiled.
"Well, so much for that." Peanut grumbled to Fish.
Fish ignored Peanut's complaint and turned his head slightly towards Toonman, "So, before you kill us, any particular reason why you're here?"
"Kill you?" Toonman looked a bit surprised, "Why would I kill someone like you? Oh no, I have to make you suffer, like you made me suffer."
Fish blinked a few times, "Um, what now?"
"You, Fish the muslim, twisted my words and made me look like a criminal in the alliance." Toonman replied with some contempt, "But not to worry, where you're going, you won't be able to talk."
"Lovely." Fish responded dryly.
"You never told me you were muslim, Fish." Peanut commented curiously.
"Er, long story."
"Now," Toonman motioned to his goons again, "take them to the car."
"Hold it!" a new, female voice shouted from behind Toonman.
Everyone spun around to look in the direction the voice had come from. Behind Toonman, a young woman was half out of a hole in the ground, from the waist up, pointing what looked like a huge squirt gun at Toonman's head.
"Goldy!?" Fish and Peanut said in unison.

Nate didn't really feel like smiling anymore. Of course, who would with ten too serious freaks trying to kill you? At least he could die with no regrets, he had eaten his pasta bowl; well, most of it anyways. Just as Nate was making his final goodbyes to this world, he heard a loud crash from the window and glass went flying everywhere in the room, knocking Nate down onto the hospital bed. A dark figure leapt into the room and Nate felt a few gusts of wind, like the blade of a sword, sweep throughout the room. When Nate opened his eyes, he saw that all the "serious zombies" were lying on the floor.
"They're just knocked out, sadly The alliance wouldn't let me have a real sword." Nate looked up noticed the dark figure who had spoken and that had come crashing for the window. The figure was still holding his extremely long sword and looking around the room. The figure had silver hair as well. Nate knew he knew of someone with silver hair, who was it...
"UC?" Shooby's familiar voice said as he entered Nate's hospital room, clearly a bit out of breath from running.
"The one and only." the figure replied as he sheathed his sword and sighed, "Please try to keep your patients under control, Doctor."
