((We can say they did? At some point? *can't remember either*))

Ah, they have, although I'm a little worried. The book said they're the type that will come back after the winter, but... it's going to be hard to watch them die. [A little too focused on death today for some reason.]

((Sure ^^))

They don't die, Vash. They just go to sleep for the winter.

Go to sleep... it's a nicer way to think of it. [But they still look like they're dying.]

It's the cycle of nature and life, Vash. There will always be death, but there will also always be life after death.

[comes over to pet his shoulder a bit] There now, Vash. There's no need to be so sad. They'll be blooming beautifully again before you know it!

I hope so, I was looking forward to the winter... but I didn't think about having to watch the flowers die.

Well, there are certain flowers that do bloom in the winter.

Yes, like poinsettia, snowdrops, wintersweet, witchhazel, crocus and camellias, to name a few.

((Taking out Christmas cactus since Christmas does not exist in his world...))

Wow, they must be strong flowers to bloom through the snow.

They can be very resilient and adaptable. They have been around way before we ever existed after all.

I guess they have. Like everything else, they'll do what they can to survive.
