For the first time, I know: this is now who I am.
I am in the most excellent mood right now, and here is why:
1. I had SUCH a fun weekend in South Bend, hanging out with my cousins and then S.A.S.S.Y. As is expected, it was a SHIT SHOW under the dome, and I have never been so glad to be back at TC or Club 23. Next year is only going to rock even harder.
2. Back to Chicago on Sunday with SASSY, hanging out at the Taste all day and then something called RibFest in Naperville at night. There was this girl there who had three bandannas on her head; Zackel got into a bitch fight with her, and it was très amusant. Raided Rossi's house and played the longest poker tournament I've ever been in. EVER. Sadly, I didn't win. (curse you, Rossi!)
3. BRENDA got home from Mexico this weekend, so she came into the city on Monday and we went back to the Taste to see my KPMG friend (Mike) play with his band. He was awesome; I bought a CD. I probably have more "struggling musician" CDs than anyone I know. (curse you, Jon!)
4. Today I was busy all day at work, but THEN! on the way HOME! I found a sweet little record store right downtown and it had all my favorite music! I got the new Mars Volta for only $10, but sadly, they didn't have the new Sufjan Stevens that came out today. I still almost died from ecstasy in the store. And now I have a sweet place to buy music. (Not that I need to spend any more money.) But this is si dangereux, if you get my drift.
Also, someone like Niz or Gow, tell me how to work myspace so I can listen to my friend Joe's new music. Thanks. The end.
