Woot woot - my last few days of freedom before the scary internship starts. Right now the whole fam is gathered here in good ole South Bend for my cousin's graduation. Jon, Roger, and Dad are all playing a show here tomorrow night for the graduation party, so at least I'll be able to make an idiot out of myself having a dance party with the sibs. ( Read more... )

hey, thanks for the shout out! i had fun with you at the killers and honorary title.
are you going to say anything cleveland or just chicago?
im glad that the person next to you didnt fall asleep on you this time, haha.
i added you, so add me back!

i hate to be the one to tell you this, but:
Andrew McMahon, lead singer of Something Corporate and Jack’s Mannequin, has been diagnosed with Acute Lymphatic Leukemia. He is being treated in Los Angeles and his doctors expect a full recovery. Tour dates for both Jack’s Mannequin and Something Corporate are postponed until further notice. Per Andrew’s request, Jack’s Mannequin’s debut album, Everything in Transit, will be released on Maverick Records in August as planned.
that is on http://www.somethingcorporate.com/ isnt that like the saddest thing? good thing they caught it early.

maggster... i almost cried when i read that.
seriously. tears sprang to my eyes as i got onto the SoCo website.
so i'm hoping that at least motion city will make an appearance on wednesday.

and what do you think about say anything?? i have been debating it with pat for about a month. i'm definitely going in chicago, but i also want to see them with you, pat, joe, etc. because that would be infinitely sweeter. so i'm thinking i'm going to fly to cleveland. is that kosher?

i know, youre the first person i thought of when i read that! i sure mcs will still be there, their site doesnt say they wont be there.
that would be cool if you came to cleveland. you sure are hardcore about going to shows, arent you? i think the farthest i have driven for a show was maybe 4 hours away. and now you are gonna fly! damn girl, you love your max bemis. haha. even if you dont see them in cleveland, you are still seeing them in chicago w/ pat and joe, so that will be sweet too.
if you want to come, of course thats cool. there will be a bunch of our friends there, so more people for you to meet. :) oh, and they are much cooler than pat. haha.
so what would you do? fly in that day, find a ride to grog shop then fly back that same night?
you crazy. hehe.

wellll... now this is a dilemma. because of that day camp that pat is supposed to work at, he said he didn't know whether they would be able to make it up to chicago for the show on wednesday. and because i DO desperately love my max, i am thinking about just skipping out of chi-town and coming down to see it with you all. i can hardly believe that you all have friends cooler than pat ;)

anyway - in tentative plans with patrick, we talked about me flying into cleveland that day then driving back to c-bus with you all after the concert and flying out the next day from your airport. that would be cheapest for me too in a weird southwest-is-amazing kind of way. so what do you think?
