Woot woot - my last few days of freedom before the scary internship starts. Right now the whole fam is gathered here in good ole South Bend for my cousin's graduation. Jon, Roger, and Dad are all playing a show here tomorrow night for the graduation party, so at least I'll be able to make an idiot out of myself having a dance party with the sibs. Oh the joys of relative anonymity and having such a huge fam.

So... the past few weeks. Spent a RE-DI-CU-LOUS amount of time with Eric; made sure to continue our traditions of last minute Wal-Mart trips the day before I leave for an extended period of time, as well as smoking flavored cigars in our spot in Pinnacle. Mine was Icy Mint, his was Tequila. Wilk joined us after he got off work, and his was Mango. I liked mine the best. And then I found $5. No but seriously - miss you already. :(

Y'all know I don't really do the "this was my life when I wasn't updating" thing, so I'll cut right to the chase. C O L U M B U S . Went there twice in the past week: last Friday, Ester so graciously and wonderfully and amazingly (love you, Es!) lent me her car so I could go see Hot Hot Heat and the Killers and... yeah. They were the jam. Ends went with me from here and then we met up with Patrick and his two friends Joe and Maggie. Yes, I straight up just called y'all out in my LJ. So you best respond and say nice things - or at least admit what mean things Pat said before I came. Ha! Can't wait for Say Anything in July. Thanks for the hospitality!

ANYWAY - yes. Concerts. Rock my face off. Let me just say... yesterday. The Honorary Title. I can't even describe it. It was at this little hole in the wall bar on campus at OSU, and seriously, I was THIS CLOSE to Jarrod during the whole show. And he was the biggest sass-hole, he started yelling at these drunk girls for singing along really loud and obnoxiously during "Revealing Too Much." After the show, Pat and I both snagged set lists, too - a dream come true.

Probably the worst part was the b u s r i d e from C-bus to the Bend this morning at 4:30 in the AM, just because it was the second night in a row with no sleep and shady characters. Pat dropped me off at the station in the middle of the night, and as we're standing there waiting for the bus to come, he looks around the waiting area and points to this one girl and says, "You should be friends with her. She's a sweet little indie rocker." Turns out, I ended up sitting next to her on the bus all the way to Indy, and she was satanically perfect. She points to the Title sticker on my CD case and asks if I saw the show tonight. We then proceed to have the longest convo about shows we've been to and who we're going to see this summer and stuff. It was hott.

I hate long entries. Je vous donnerai plus de détails plus tard.
