Rules of the Game:

2. Artistic. Not necessarily in a "pick up some paints and make me a sculpture" kinda way, just enough so that he won't get bored when I go on my fabric-buying sprees.
3. Musical. Complain about the current state of Hip Hop music, vibe out to the Lauryn Hill Unplugged album, enjoy it when I sing to him....that kinda stuff.
4. Open. I really want to know about the musings he has in the shower and hear about all the little occurences that bothered him that day. Just be willing to tell me how he's feeling as much as I'm willing to confide in him.
5. Stylish/Attractive. We are talking about the perfect lover here, and my perfect guy would have a genuine sense of style (basically, wears what he likes and looks good doing so.) Plus he'd be attractive to me. I'm a sucker for soft skin, nice hands, slim/lithe (gotta love the skinny muscles lol),
6. Affectionate. Isn't afraid to show me that he cares, in his own ways.
7. Understand me. Sometimes I say things like "It's yellow outside!", or I eat Ritz crackers with ice cream. My perfect guy understands and embraces these quirks because he's just as quirky himself.
8. Have some conviction. Never have me look at you and think "What do you do?" It should be clear to me what moves you, what stirs you up, what you're passionate about. Nothing sexier than a man getting heated about an issue that means a lot to him!
9. Appreciate me, but don't treat me like an object. I want to be doted apon, I want to be cared for, I want him to think I'm fantabulous. But his admiration should not be centered around my British accent, the fact that I'm light skinned or the idea that I'm "exotic". Sure, my uniquness should be beautiful in his eyes, but not in a superficial or surface-driven way.
10. My friends, family and people who know me can just tell that he's right for me, even if the rest of the world can't.
