our hearts sing less than we wanted
After weeks of feeling sick I'm feeling a litttttle bit better. This is a big deal. I'm so sick of being constantly hungover without the fun part of creating it :(
Pity party aside, I'm just posting to remind myself that today I realised what my FIRST EVER SHIP WAS. When I was about 13 I found all my big sisters old 21 Jumpstreet episodes ON VHS *lol* So I started watching them and got addicted. I adored Johnny Depp, not just because he was beautiful (because he really was, still is might add) but because of his cute little idiosyncrasies and mannerisms (which you see a lot of now in his character roles like Willy Wonka or the Mad Hatter. So anyway, last night I checked youtube for eps and they're all on there! I've watched about 6 and can remember them nearly word for word.
I always loved Johnny's character Tommy Hanson, especially when he and his partner Penhall were the McQuaid Brothers (!!Heh!!). He was tough but sweet and I really loved his relationship with the female character Judy Hoffs, played by Holly Robinson. I loved how they were close friends and he was always so protective of her. He always used to give her all these little incidental touches and the way he looked at her at times..*sigh*. Anyway, I swear that set me up to ship people who have a protective/friendship turning to love type theme. (Hello...Harry/Hermione, Wolverine/Rogue, Peter/Claire-before I found out he was her feckin Uncle, dumb.) So after that long ramble, can I ask....
