So, Sis' house got a basically perfect inspection...and so did the Kramer house. (The one she's buying. I don't know if I should say 'we' since I will be paying rent but you really can't call it buying. Mind you, my rent will cover the bulk of the mortgage, lol. I'm also the one who does more cooking and cleaning, so it's really not a terrible deal for sis.)
Anyway, that means that ALL that is left is the 'final walkthrough' which is just a technicality on the last day before taking possession, to make sure that the original owners haven't blown up the house or stolen all the cupboards or something else that would void the sale. Basically, it's all a done deal.
In other words, I am going to be moving on October 1. Maybe October 2 if it takes an extra day for things like paint to dry and so on (my room is going to be painted, and the living room...and the rest is fine as it is.) Sis is freaking out weirdly about her moving situation being an EMERGENCY so she's got to move in INSTANTLY with no time to spare, like she'll be a bum on the street if she doesn't, or all her possessions will melt or something...even though she has a place to stay, the moving truck is ours, not rented, so she can take as much time as she wants to getting her stuff back off of it, and nothing will be lost if she takes one extra day to move in. I don't get it. As far as I'm concerned, she needs to calm the heck down on that part of the issue, but whatever. Sisters are weird.
PS: Is 'busy' really a mood?
