Okay, I'm a gamer. I don't like the term because it feels like it carries connotations that don't actually fit me, but I think it'd be silly to say I'm not one...I believe I've qualified as one for 30 years now, so...yeah.
But I must also say this: I just do NOT care even one smidgen about Pokemon. I don't understand where all this sudden craziness is coming from, to the point where apparently some police somewhere are actually cautioning fans to remember that just because someone plays Pokemon (Go?) doesn't mean they're a good person and you shouldn't take the social aspect of the game too far. Also people are literally, physically running into other people while trying to catch their pokemon? BAFFLING.
Pokemon...no. I can't even get interested in it. I'm just confused, now. Has everyone spontaneously gone koo-koo because of an app? Some sort of real-world aspect to playing?
Whatever kind of gamer I am, it's definitely not the right type for this hype.
