I have exactly an outline and two and a quarter paragraphs written for my Scarlet Letter essay. I don't have a title, either, and I left my book at school so I can't look up the quotes I need. At least it's not due till Tuesday, because if it was due Monday I'd be screwed. In addition to this paper, I need a draft of my "Brownies" essay for Critique. The odds of this happening are slim, but at least I have the story on hand for that.
With any luck, my hair will be dry and in some sort of order by the time I leave for
kissmyessay's party. With a little more luck, I'll get around to finishing my laundry so I actually have something unwrinkled and flattering to wear. (Am wearing what must be the least flattering shirt I own; it's not in my colors at all and therefore I look washed out and sickly. The damp hair and lack of makeup probably don't help either.)
So, I decided what I'm being for Halloween: Goth. It was Aislin's idea, actually, but it'll be fun. Besides, I won't actually have to buy new clothes or anything, just borrow black nail polish. ::giggles:: It's a half-day on Halloween, and rather than hanging out at B&N and then going over to the church, I'm going to take Septa home. Somehow, I don't think any of the staff would be thrilled to see me in that costume. I doubt the people I'll meet up with on the El will bat an eye. Should I wear pants or a skirt?
I really shouldn't procrastinate. Nothing ever gets done that way, but I just seem to have a penchant for leaving everything for the weekend and then committing to social stuff as well. Oh - and I signed on for nursery tomorrow, and Angela Chung will cover for me on the 9th. That means you're off the hook till December,
amybrat249! Now I just have to figure out if it's at 9:00 or 10:45. Oops. Why does it never occur to me to ask these questions when I'm actually on the phone with people who know the answer? Ugh.
