Welcome to Spring Break
Yes, it's that time of the year... I'm officially on spring break. Wayne State's spring break is always really late and somewhat frustrating. It always falls during tryouts for the softball season. The only nice thing is that I can concentrate on tryouts and not have to worry about class in the mornings.
The last two days were pointless though. I drove 45 min each way just to turn in a binder, two days in a row. I wish I had just turned them both in on tuesday and then I could have had a week and a half off instead. Oh well... hindsight...
Now I'm sitting here watching some Big Ten Basketball. Northwestern and Penn State are playing right now and after that Michigan takes on Minnesota. Finally, the best game of the day is Michigan State vs Purdue. I just hope that we can pull it out and play hard. Then tomorrow we'd take on Illinois... a rematch less than a week after playing them last. We'll see what happens. Pete and I leave Friday afternoon to head down to Indianapolis. We are staying with his friend Angela for Friday night, then saturday the three of us are going to the semi-final games. Sunday Marshall and his girlfriend are headed down from Wisconsin and we're going to watch the Championship game. Regardless of who is in it, it should be a fun game to watch. i'm rooting hard for state, but I won't be suprised if they don't make it.
I'm officially done working for my brother. Since softball is starting I won't be able to work there since I have practice every weekday. I have a lot to get ready for the softball season though. I have to print out packets for them with all the information they'll need for the season... schedules, calendars, etc... I'll spend next week working on that.
OK, I'm outta here for now... i'll update more after this weekend about my mini-vacation!
