I just got it several days ago in this condition from my landlord. It's fairly small, so I gave it two cups of water and that was it. I didn't want to drown it.

OH YEAH, YOU. You're only supposed to water jade plants once a MONTH in winter, so he was probably TOTALLY overwatering it and it's all WITHERED now, LAMER. DO YOU HAVE A POT THAT WILL DRAIN THE SOIL? IS IT INDOORS? They are INDOOR PLANTS, you know.

I don't have a pot that will drain it, but I can purchase one. I have it indoors by a window in my kitchen. Next to a vent. So it doesn't develop frost.

THAT WOULD BE BEST. We have a BUNCH at the shop. BUT TAKE IT AWAY FROM THE VENT, CRAZY. TOO MUCH HEAT! DO YOU NOT HAVE HEATING IN YOUR APARTMENT?

Alright, I'll take it away from the vent. Yes, I have heating in the apartment, that's what the VENT is for.

GOOD. You don't want to kill the poor thing. We can show you how to PRUNE IT, since it's almost spring ANYWAY. If you have heating, you don't need to place the tree RIGHT UP against the vent, or it'll get too hot and the trunk will wither and totally not be able to support the other branches.
