these past few days have been some of the best in my life.
the show last night was amazing. nothing beat stage diving and dancing to Terror. just being able to see them, and Unearth, and the other bands create their music right in your face.
last night was different, too, because the guys were so surprised we came back out. it was real chill. you have no idea how amazing those guys are, so don't talk shit on them. they gave us the utmost respect and treated us like we'd been friends for years, better than a few of the other guys from bands that were a little more rude and disrespectful.
you're going to tell me that when you meet people that have had such an impact on your life, have been there through the years, you're not going to be fucking excited? who get you in free, and take the time to just chat? i was fucking floored, it was utterly euphoric to be able to talk to the guys about everything from hardcore and the tour to hilarious stories from years ago.
and surprisingly enough, it's possible to be a broad and get invited everywhere with the band and not sleep with them. or ANYTHING sexual, not even close. Nick, Frank, Scott, all of them are some of the most amazing guys out there. they don't act like rockstars. they act like a bunch of kids in a hardcore band doing what they love.
i'm so happy Chrissy was there with me. she appreciated it to the max, too, and our conversations of old times on our way to Pittsburg was fantastic.
so i am beat, bruised, and ripped to hell. and i couldn't be happier ^___^
