Stan!Rat just died.

In the space of two hours, two of my rats have died, leaving the last one, Stan, to wander about the cage bewildered and wondering where his brothers have went.

What the fuck, universe.

OH GOD I BANDWAGONEDI had to get Lilli!Rat and Chloe!Rat put down this weekend. D: I didn't mention it before because I've been kinda distracted since then. Plus, my LJ seems to be full of ratdeath lately - I'm down to three rats now; Turk!Rat, DrCox!Rat, and Stan!Rat. It made me cry, but then again it IS that time of the month, so.

(Oh hey, I got a new sad icon. XD The old one was severely outdated. I also have a new Boingyeyes icon at the ready, but I don't know if I'm quite ready to get rid of the Bobby one. XD)

The boy rats possibly have mites. Or they just like scratching until they make themselves bleed. Either way a vet visit is likely in order, and it could not have come at a more financially inappropriate time(with £30-40 to my name until wednesday and the pressing need I have for a haircut and such.). I love how my rats all ignore the expensive new chew toy I put in there with them, but gnaw the hell out of the bundle of chew twigs I bought for less than half the price.
