It turns out that I come from somewhere. While that place is not close, nor am I oft immersed in its influence, it has provided my inner inspiration.

I remember when Battlefield 1942 came out. It was the best first-person, multiplayer game to come out since Counter Strike. The game reenacted several of WWII’s major campaigns, from the Battle of Midway to the Russian’s final push into Berlin.
