Okay, so perhaps there was a bit of truth in what my sister, GOES-10, said in her previous post. Perhaps I do have a tiny bit of an impractical, irrational crush. Surely I won't allow this to get in the way of my regularly scheduled activities and my ever-so-important work

Aw, it's not cheesy. Of course, I don't know the tune, so who knows, maybe it's cheesy with the tune...but hey, not many satellites write songs, y'know, you get credit just for doing it in the first place.

Hang in there with your crush. Maybe someday he'll notice you. You're worth noticing! I have to confess...I'm developing a crush on him, too, and I don't even know who he is. But from everything you've said, he strikes me as cool and pretty creative, too. *sigh of longing*

Hey GOES's, I was visiting your ground station on Tuesday at Wallops Island. Very nice facility there, and the engineers are some of the most technically proficient and just downright good people I've ever met. You're lucky to have them. They really care about you.

I doubt you could sense it, but I took a moment to run my fingers over the comm panels for 10 and 12. I guess it's the closest I'll ever come to touching either of you. Since 9 is commanded out of the Fairbanks ground station I couldn't do that on his panel.
