The empty, Roman cross... Who would've ever thought it would become a symbol of power? Then, again, who would've ever thought that the Kingdom of God lives, despite the brokenness and wickedness in ourselves and all around us? The King has come. He has absorbed our crimes and the wrath that sought us. He died for the sin of this world. Yet, He was Love, and death has no power over such a thing. So, He lives. Where is He then, if not in the ground, and beyond death? He is preparing a place for us in His coming Kingdom! Will we prepare a place for Him in our lives? Will you prepare a place for Him in your life? His work is precious, and it has been many years since He ascended to do what must be done before the End of the Age. Yet time, of any span, is fleeting, when inevitably cast against the eternity of any given soul. There is little time, really, left in this world, and little time left for us... as we are. Are you Christ's today? Are you waiting for tommorow? If you have no reason to be Christ's today, than tommorow is full of doubt. Search yourselves and see if the love of God is the everlasting portion that you desire. A serious state awaits us all in the End... Joy or Pain, unceasing. Know that both hinge on one's acceptance of Christ, and that He would have you glad.
Happy Easter,
Jake
