Well, in an attempt at keeping my son's armour up to spec of the new rules that are being worked on, I needed to up this elbow and knees. The basic sports pads wouldn't be enough (they want side joint coverage) so....what to do. Well, basically add some armour grade leather to the sides. So, got off my ass and got some shit done. Got the leather cut out for the boy's elbow and knee protection. The new Youth Armoured Combat rules want better joint protection for elbows and knees than what basic sport knee/elbow pads will do.
