Storybook Lore

My friend Olga writes on,

The Stories We Tell Ourselves

...  & a beautiful bit of writing it is too.

One of the greatest of the Grand Narratives you will ever ken:
the story of your own life & how you choose to shape it.

I'm telling you stories. Trust me. ~ JW

I like how Olga advocates the proactive nature of decision-making and the effect of individual choice upon your life. Yes, I believe God's hand, the hand of the Potter, is firmly over the whole situation but the very act of stepping up to pray, "Your will be done" is what shapes the working-out of Life, the movement from standing at a crossroads, from a fork in the path to finding & following through a direction.
Of the grace-clothed concept that "it's never too late to change", to turn back (repent) & "be renewed by the transforming of your mind."  Choices create change, for better or for worse; either way, it's glory-to-glory.
