Wednesday couldn't come any sooner
I go to see my kidney doctor Wednesday and I hope they start the process of re-evaluating me for a transplant and maybe get some kind of idea on a time frame. So we had a party last night and it was really fun. A couple people showed up that I wasn't expecting and everyone loved my chocolate Guinness cupcakes with Irish cream frosting. It made my night. A lot went on, people were playing Rockband upstairs, pool and darts and the Wii downstairs, I stayed upstairs mostly because I had to keep my feet up, my legs tend to swell tremendously. The men had foam bat wars, it was hilarious and yet brutal at the same time.
Today we went to lunch with one of the guys from work, we hung out for a while and then he left. That's wen Eric surprised me with a panda from build-a-bear (we said we weren't going to do anything because of the party and all the funds spent while I was in the hospital that was supposed to be for our cruise). He dressed it in a Kung Fu outfit and on top of that he named it Po, lol, he also made it so that when I hug him you can feel a heart beat. I love it! Also, he got me mini microbes and a small box of Godiva chocolates. Then we went to the Olive Garden for dinner, I swear I can never make it to the main course without getting filled up on soup/salad and bread sticks. They had some new pomegranate lemonade that was absolutely delish! So all in all I had a very nice Valentines day.
