Yes, I'm still alive.

It's been close to a week since my last post, and that post was kinda emo, so even though it's 2:30am and I have to be at church at 9, I'm gonna write up a quick (no, really, I mean it this time >_>) post.

Basically, my week has been pretty awesome. :D Not overly eventful, but that's okay. I've been in contact with the NAB office to kind of keep the ball rolling on getting my support in, so that I can get to Japan as soon as possible. Makes me feel better, because honestly, I was starting to feel like I hit a dead end, and now I have a better idea of what I need to do.

Other than that...what did I do this week? Thursday was the J-club movie night, and we watched Detroit Metal City, which is super cracktastic and absolutely hilarious (I did not even recognize Matsuyama Kenichi at first and he's the freaking main character, and it also has Kato Rosa :D). Especially fun to watch in a group, I think. Afterwards we went...guess where...Denny's. But it was fun to catch up with people I haven't seen in a while, and I got to meet a couple of the Japanese exchange students, who are both pretty awesome. So yeah, fun times. Then last night, my brother and I went over to Mike's house (David was there too), where we started to watch Fight Club but the dvd was messed up so eventually we gave up and played Rock Band and Wii Bowling and Smash Bros. Brawl until like 2am, and then today I worked all day, then went to church in the evening, and then Mike and his brother Tim came over and hung out with me and Ryan and, guess what, we played Guitar Hero and Wii Bowling. Because we are cool people like that. And this now makes three nights in a row of getting like five hours of sleep, but I can't really complain because I've been having fun.

And oh crap, I still need to do my taxes. Fail.

friends, video games, good times, japan, im a missionary what, fail, real life
